Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room had a lovely view over the loch towards Skye and was comfortable, although it needed some painting and the bathroom lock was broken. The service, led by the owner/manager Evelyn, was delightful and all the staff members were excellent. The location was superb with one of the best room views I have ever experienced, and it was breathtaking. Close to Plockton and the Skye bridge, it was convenient for exploring. The dining experience after the full Scottish breakfast was fabulous. However, there was a continuous tirade during the meal. Overall, a great stay with some minor room issues and a mixed dining experience.
The hotel offers lovely spacious rooms with fabulous views over to Skye. The dining options were amazing, but the facilities could do with a revamp. Overall, a great place to stay with stunning views and excellent service.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although spacious, was in need of an upgrade and felt old-fashioned. On the bright side, it offered a partial view of the Skye bridge, with decent bathroom amenities. The service was fantastic, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The location was outstanding, providing breathtaking views, but there were concerns about cleanliness in certain areas. The dining experience was enjoyable, with friendly staff, while the facilities were adequate for my needs.
The hotel offers beautiful and clean rooms with views over the loch and the Skye bridge, providing a comfortable and spacious stay. The service is exceptional, with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The location is superb, perfect for soaking up the scenery, and the dining, although enjoyable, offers a somewhat restricted choice. Overall, a great value for a memorable stay.
The hotel had a cozy and nostalgic vibe with stunning views over Loch Alsh to the Isle of Skye. The rooms were spacious and quiet, although a bit cold, and could benefit from modernization. The service was exceptional, with attentive and caring staff. The dining experience was delightful, featuring fabulous dishes in a welcoming atmosphere.
